The Aquarium

A very snowy Sunday in the Salt Lake Valley called for us to visit the Living Planet Aquarium.... I was unaware that they had added a rather fun attraction since Bunny B and I were there this past summer. They now have RIVER OTTERS!  And they are such quick movers, it was so hard to catch their picture!  They are 3 brothers and they were much larger than I had ever thought that River Otters would be!  And what fun they are to watch:)

Swimming on his back:)

He is under the water.... Man, is he FAST!

Bunny B, looking through the "Otters Den" at the 3 sleeping brothers:)

The morning was great to catch the Aquarium.... It was feeding time for most of the creatures they have there.  We watched the Penguins get their breakfast and Bunny Em saw them feed the Jelly Fish:)

Then the Bunnies played with the Sting Rays and Bunny Em went and "petted" the Star Fishes and a variety of Crabs....:)

It was a fun to spend the morning at the Aquarium..... Just the 3 of us.... Bunny Em decided that she wanted to become a Marine Biologist!  She isn't afraid of touching slimy or scaly things!  Bunny Em was disappointed when they announced that they had a some kind of Toad out to let people see up close and personal.  She ran out there to see it and it was in a box. Unable. to. touch. What a disappointment:(  The best part for me was the Penguins and the River Otters. They are both really quick swimmers! And they both just wanna make ya wanna squeeze them! Especially the penguins!

Being a Bear.....

Being a Bear.... in the Cub Scouts.  It means so many things, such as growing up and learning how to be independent, respectful, and being able to survive. Bunny B is a Bear until his 10th birthday.  He is doing so well in all that he does.  He is not only learning how to present our American Flag, but has the opportunity to practice. Bunny B is learning how to work with tools, as they created their own toolboxes! He is learning how to get along with his other fellow scouts and appreciate their differences. I am so proud of my Bunny when he wears his uniform with pride.  He really enjoys Cub Scouts!
This last week my nephew was in charge of the Den meeting so he could pass off an achievement. He and my Mom, his Grammy, choose to make masks.  The boys sure had a fun time making and then wearing these cute masks.  However, Bunny B was mildly disappointed because he wanted a "Scary" one.....LOL!

What a very interesting group of "Bears".... We have quite a few in the Den, and this isn't even all of them!  It is defiantly a chore for their leaders to keep them under control.... LOL!  But they do a pretty good job:)

Clark Plantarium

Bunny B and Bunny Em walking on the MOON!
We were in Salt Lake visiting Grandparents Hare and thought it might be a good idea to get out and do something.... We have always talked about going to the Planetarium, but never had. I was surprised that you can go in and explore so many things for FREE!  Now, that's something! It seems you can't do anything for nothing anymore.....
Look!  It's Earth!

Bunny Em checking out the terrain of MARS! The sky in MARS is a bright yellow!  Now, wouldn't that give ya a headache.....
Bunny B posing for his picture on MARS!
Daddy Hare....Be careful on the MOON!  Gravity could kick in any minute!
Bunny Em found an actual rock from a METEOR!  It was pretty heavy!
The Boys playing a game......

We decided to go see a movie in the "Dome".  It was a screen that went all around and behind you and the Movie was in 3-D.  It made me a little nausea at times, but I was the only one..... We walked in and sat down and the "screen" was a bright magenta color, then they changed it to blue, then to yellow, and even red.  It was a fun experience. Thanks Aunt Cyd for suggesting the Planetarium to us and for coming along:)

Christmas Time is HERE Again!

I got up to fetch a drink out of the fridge.... AND Santa had already came!  This was surprisingly only at 9:30pm!!! WOW!  He must have had a lot of deliveries and the Bunnies in our neighborhood must have been good to fall asleep so quickly:)
My Bunnies are not so traditional.... They actually feel their gifts, shake them, & then slowly unwrap them. All the while guessing what on Earth is in there! I find this cute and endearing:)
Bunny Em.... Santa has brought her BOOTS, Cowgirl ones???
Bunny B got EXACTLY what he asked Santa for... Remote Control, Fighting, Shooting Army Tanks!!! And these 2, have had loads of fun with these Tanks! The Tanks each have a laser beam that tracks how many times each has "hit", and when they "hit" the tank rattles and goes, "Oh, oh" and when it has been "hit" 4 times, it lights up and spins around and dies.  There is no question who is winning the war with these Army Tanks....
Bunny Em with her "Bling" Belt.... Another "Cowgirl" thing.... And she doesn't have a clue how to ride a horse????
 Bunny B.....
Bunny Em with her "Loot":)
Bunny B with his new stuff:)

Every year, I stress over trying to get everyone what they ask for and praying, hoping, & wishing that they will be happy..... It really wears me out! I thought this year that we would sleep til 8, like usual and then proceed to open gifts. Well, the Bunnies were asleep by 9 Christmas Eve and so..... Way before the Sun was going to be peeping over the mountain, they were wide awake and whispering in the living room. This was at 4:30 AM! Joe and I could hear them and sure enough, Bunny B sneaked into our room to see if he could wake us.... Joe asked B if Em was awake, and at the same time they yell, "YES"! So up we were, at 4:30 AM in our matching camouflage PJ's guessing what was under the Tree.
We were all done opening the gifts and Bunny B says, "Well, its still night, so I am going back to bed." Yes, it was STILL dark outside and YES, he DID crawl back into bed.... He didn't last long, but boy, is he a funny Bunny!
I was expecially happy with my gifts... Bunny B had created 2 bulb ornaments at school, one for me and one for his Dad. He proceeded to tell me how he made them and how breakable they are.... So beautiful:)
Bunny Em took Shop this year and made us a really pretty Checker Board!  It looks amazing! I do have photos of these priceless wonders, but they are on my phone... I absolutely LOVE these gifts that my Bunnies gave! It's not hard to make this Mom smile....:)
